Khun Kao Promotions is proud to be the very first to have offered full rules Muay Thai on our "D.C. Metro Showdown 3" event on Saturday, February 23, 2008. We will continue to strive for excellence in combat sports, providing the fairest and safest competition for all participants.
Upcoming Events It is with great pleasure that we announce Khun Kao Promotions partnership with Operation Octagon, one of the D.C. Metropolitan area’s premier amateur Mixed Martial Arts event series!
On Saturday, May 30th at the Prince William County Fairgrounds, our two promotions are partnering up to feature a full day Combat Sports Festival, “Operation Octagon VII”, tentatively to feature daytime Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai matches, and a full MMA fight card to begin at 7:30 pm! Doors will open at 11 am. There will only be 1 admission fee! Each fight event (Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, or the evening MMA fight card) is included in your ticket purchase!!!
While we apologize for the short notice, we are currently seeking Muay Thai fighters of all experience levels to participate in this event! If you're interested please visit our fighters page here. We are also asking that everyone please state their preference (or indicate no preference) as to whether they would prefer to fight in a boxing ring or a cage in the comments section. Operation Octagon is completely open to providing either for the Muay Thai fights!
